Hot School Lunches

Every morning, your child will be asked if they would like a hot school dinner or whether they have brought a packed lunch - therefore it is important that your child knows what sort of lunch they are going to have each day.

If your child is in Year 3 or 4 then meals must be paid for in advance. They currently cost £2.70 which includes a choice of hot meal plus a pudding. 

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. Your child can still bring in a packed lunch if they'd prefer.

Families may be eligible for free school meals due to low income regardless of their child’s year group. If you think you might be eligible please call Central Bedfordshire Council on 0300 300 8306 where your application will be dealt with in strict confidence.
