We are proud to be a ‘Values’ school; teachers ensure that through both teaching and example, values are learnt and understood. We encourage everyone to show respect for others, take responsibility for their actions, have courage, and show forgiveness. We teach ‘British Values’ as an integral part of our curriculum. For example, we teach pupils about what Individual Liberty means, and to have respect and tolerance of others by learning about faiths and beliefs which are different to their own. The student School Council is a chance for children to experience democracy in action at first hand.
